River Hope welcomes everyone to gather – as the ancient peoples of this area would have done – by our water bodies at key seasonal transitions of the year. Come with love and gratitude, an intention to honour water and its biodiversity and to step into stewardship as a good ancestor.
May Day evening is the traditional Gaelic festival of Beltane, midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice, marking the beginning of summer. For this water ceremony, we will meet among the old trees of The Dell, part of the Theatre Gardens near Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-Upon-Avon beside the River Avon. See you there!
