Everyone is welcome to visit and browse a free arts exhibition in the Rother Streets Art House in the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon as an ode to the River Avon, looking at its past, its present and imagining a better future.

The multimedia exhibition is organised by Moving Souls Dance as part of Ondine’s Odyssey, is co-created with local artists and photographers from Brook Arts Hub and River Hope – and includes a new work commissioned by Stan’s Cafe. The exhibition is open in the Gallery from Saturday 6th June 11am – 3pm, and then again from Tues 9th – Saturday 13th  11am – 3pm. Note that it is closed on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th June.

On Saturday 13 June, artist Mollie Acacia Hughes will also run two workshops in the Gallery for children aged 5-12 years old (parent/guardian accompanied) to create printed river-themed masks. The two slots are: 11.30am – 12.15pm and 1.30pm – 2.15pm. To book a place, please call 07538 785235 for the Eventbrite link. These masks will be worn by children during Ondine’s procession from the Crowne Plaza Hotel to Stratford-Upon-Avon Bandstand on Saturday 14 June from 5:30-7pm. Com along with family and friends, all free!

This arts exhibition is part of a wider programme of events taking place across South Warwickshire celebrating the national Great Big Green Week 2026 programme. It is coordinated locally by Net Zero Stratford and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Click this link for more details on the whole programme for all South Warwickshire locations.
