Moving Souls Dance has commissioned artists, a composer, singers and craft designers to create and animate voices from the River Avon to celebrate the birth of Ondine (spirit of the river) to conclude “The Gathering: for Water and Nature”.
Throughout the day on Sunday 15 March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, commissioned and local artists will work together to design a sculpture made from sustainable materials to imagine the spirit of the River Avon. With musicians and a youth drama group, they will develop drama and music that will depict the current health of the River Avon. Their concerns will be embroidered into a wall hanging for future exhibitions.
