Today and for every day for the last (at least) 3.5 billion years, across Earth’s rivers, lakes and oceans, water has been moving – flowing, nourishing, connecting.
To honour water, and to send out a global call for better stewardship and love for water, a new film has been released on World Water Day, called “Water is Love: Ripples of Regeneration”. The film has been made and hosted by the Tamera Peace Research and Education Centre in Portugal.
You can watch the film here: www.waterislovefilm.org
‘Water is love” aims to inspire us all to support scaling up water and ecosystem regeneration and protect our water bodies and their ecosystems. The film tells inspiring stories about the transformative power of ecological regeneration from around the world, showing why we need to focus on restoring water cycles as we respond to the climate and ecological emergency.
It’s a film of love for Nature and ecology, and includes a powerful animation of the water cycle on which all life on Earth depends.
Show it in your schools and colleges, communities, village halls, town councils, and all your gathering places. Spread the message that water is love!
Let’s bring this pivotal message to as many people as possible. The film creators want to see 100,000 new viewers by Earth Day on April 22. Together we can slow the tide of ecological and climate disaster and begin to heal our planet.
River Hope will screen this film locally in Stratford-on-Avon District as part of its autumn Film Festival, along with many other films to inform and inspire, from the UK and around the world. See our Blog post on the River Hope Film Festival, reach out to us if you would like to offer support, and keep returning for updates.
