Fun Palaces supports local people to co-create their own cultural and community events, across the UK and worldwide, sharing and celebrating the genius in everyone.

Join Brook Arts Hub and River Hope at Stratford-Upon-Avon Library to celebrate water, rivers and all their biodiversity with free, drop in activities for all ages. No booking required.

For families with children aged 4+ – “A river comes to life” – help create a water and river installation:

  • 10am – 12pm: Lego – will you add a bridge over the river or a building on the bank?
  • 12.30pm – 2.30pm: Riverscape creativity and crafts – imagine and create plants, fishes, water birds, animals, insects and invertebrates to bring the riverscape to life.
  • 12:30 – 2:30pm: Listening Corner: readings of some poems and stories about water from around the world.

For all ages:

  • 10am – 3pm: River Hope community photography and video installation.
